In Bauska municipality we completed another site where the homeowner chose an AUGUST AT-8K biological wastewater treatment plant. Below we show how the installation went and why this model fits best in a well-kept yard.
Why the customer chose the ATK series
The ATK series is the first wastewater treatment plant in Latvia in which the compressor and controller can be integrated into the plant itself. That means fewer lids in the yard and a cleaner landscape.
A standard plant lid is 140 cm in diameter. The ATK lid is more than twice as small ā just 60 cm. Such a small lid is easy to hide behind flower pots or ground-cover plants, and it doesn’t get in the way of mowing with either a traditional or a robotic mower. At the same time, access to the plant for maintenance remains completely convenient.
The AT-8K is suitable for a household of up to 6 people and has a daily capacity of 0.90 mĀ³ of wastewater. That’s roughly three times what an average family of four uses, so the plant always has a safety margin for guests, parties or a big laundry day.
